The Stornoway Active Smock has an active cut and is made from a stretch fabric with a soft, brushed finish and a tweed print. The smock incorporates a windproof and waterproof HWS (Härkila Weather System) membrane that has been designed specially for hunting and is lightweight, supple and stretchable. Because both the fabric and the membrane are supple and stretchable, the Stornoway Active Smock offers a lot of freedom of movement. The fabric has also been treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent). This gives the smock a dirt- and water-repellent finish. The Stornoway Active Smock has a large, zipped chest pocket, which has a flap with a magnetic closure and drainholes and is suitable for protecting binoculars. It also features handwarmer pockets and a radio pocket on the left chest, all with waterproof zips. On the left side, there is a two-way zip running from the bottom of the smock up to the armhole. This makes it easy to take off and put on the smock and also acts as ventilation. The smock has adjustments at the cuffs, lower hem, waist and hood. The hood also has an adjustable brim.
